Hmm... So we went back to school for the first time as graduates! :D
It.. didn't feel that much different. People were still making fun of us like normal, teachers were still confused as to why we show up (Mrs. Haller was a bit more understanding :D), and our friends were being their normal supportive selves. Plus the studying for 7th Hour final.
Like every other time that we back to school, we basically sat in Armstrong's room playing cards. It.. didn't feel like anything changed. Personally, I still don't know if I graduated or not, and I definitely don't mind either way. But I guess this could just be my 8-year-old child inside talking and not actually wanting to grow up. This is probably likely... rawr.

There was something else that I tried today, on the ride back from school, while Alvi and Teeky were distracted, I started to semi-meditate. I was surprised that it half worked and I was able to see myself in a blank room. It felt nice, and I was relaxed. I tried the same thing a couple moments ago. as the rain was pouring outside, I went out onto my deck and just sat down. I was chilly at first, but very calming. I've come to a few realizations :D
I guess there's still hope for my brain in its lame attempt at thinking during the summer? ^_^
More Later,

list of songs!
ReplyDelete:D
this is happening downtown sometime, yes?
and <3 to your 8-year old inside self..ness. :] but i don't think all 8-year olds can meditate...:D lol hanzy :)
ReplyDeletemeditation is supposed to be super good for your health. In a study of elderly people over the course of several years, a high percentage of those who did not meditate were dead or suffering from terminal illness, a slightly lower percentage of those who meditated irregularly had the same, and of those who meditated, none were dead or ill. So said Ms. Bullinger anyhow. I wish I could meditate. I don't have the focus.
ReplyDeletehaha, meditation is great - ask if you has questinos, i started...a few years ago and it's really be awesome :D great stress reliever and find out about yourselfer
